People of ACM is a newsletter that “highlights the unique scientific accomplishments and compelling personal attributes of ACM members who are making a difference in advancing computing as a science and a profession. These bulletins feature ACM members whose personal and professional stories are a source of inspiration for the larger computing community.”
In the latest bulletin, ACM features Dietmar Jannach, a professor at the University of Klagenfurt (Austria), author of a recommender-systems textbook, co-founder of the ACM Transactions on Recommender Systems, and a well-known member of the recommender-systems community.
