Survey on the Importance and Availability of Information Around Recommender Systems

Recommender-Systems.com (RC_c) is our attempt to build a central platform for the RecSys community. Our goal is to provide information and resources relating to recommender-systems including news, event calendars, curated lists of datasets and software libraries, and many things more. However, is there really a need for all this information? And even if, would RS_c be the right solution?
