Free MOOC on Automated Machine Learning (AutoML)
Automated Machine Learning (AutoML) is one of the techniques that will greatly advance recommender systems in the near future (see also AutoRecSys). Recently, there was a free open access book published on AutoML by Frank Hutter, Lars Kotthoff, and Joaquin Vanschoren. Just a few days ago, a new free online lecture on AutoML was announced on KI-Campus.org. Marius Lindauer, Bernd Bischl, Frank Hutter, Lars Kotthoff, and Janek Thomas offer a comprehensive introduction to AutoML in a 14-weeks course, each week containing 8 hours of video material. The creators are well-known authorities in the field of AutoML, and even though I haven’t looked at the course yet, I am quite sure it will be excellent.
