Blogs & News
We are not aware of any other blogs or news websites that have a strong focus on recommender systems. Besides RS_c, your best option for news relating to recommender systems is probably Twitter and the hashtag #recsys, and for a more academic focus creating alerts and conducting regular searches on Google Scholar, SemanticScholar, ResearchGate, and arxiv.org. It might also be worth visiting the Blog of the ACM Recommender Systems Conference once in a while. Though, it focuses on the ACM RecSys conference only with a few posts per year.
Currently, we are not aware of any other blogs or news websites with a primary focus on recommender systems. Aside from RS_c, staying updated on recommender system developments can be best achieved through other online platforms. X.com, particularly the hashtag #recsys, is a useful source for the latest discussions, announcements, and research in the field.
For a more academic approach, setting up alerts and performing regular searches on platforms like Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, ResearchGate, and arXiv.org is highly recommended. These platforms provide access to the latest papers and preprints on recommender systems and related areas.
The official ACM RecSys blog has seen its last new post in 2021.
If you know of any blogs, news websites, and portals that specialize in recommender systems, please let us know.
