Welcome to RS_c, the central platform for the RecSys community. We provide curated lists of recommender-systems datasets, algorithms, books, conferences and many resources more. Maybe most importantly, we publish the latest recommender-system news. If you want your news to be reported on RS_c, read here.
The premier conference for recommender systems research is the yearly ACM Conference Series on Recommender Systems. However, there are plenty of conferences more in the fields of information retrieval, machine learning, user modelling, and human-computer interaction that do publish research on recommender systems.
ACM RecSys has published the Call for Papers for the 15th ACM Conference on Recommender Systems (RecSys 2021), which will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 27th of September to 1st of October, 2021. It seems that so far the organizers are hoping for a ‘real’ conference with physical attendance but they will “accommodate remote […]
NeurIPS 2020 will start in a few days. Given the importance of machine learning for recommender systems, there are many relevant papers. In addition, there are four papers that directly relate to recommender systems: Sampling-Decomposable Generative Adversarial Recommender Binbin Jin, Defu Lian, Zheng Liu, Qi Liu, Jianhui Ma, Xing Xie, Enhong Chen Abstract: Recommendation techniques are important approaches for alleviating information overload. […]
The ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL) is the premier conference in the field of digital libraries and, besides the ACM RecSys, a good choice for publishing work related to research-paper recommender systems, citation recommenders, venue recommendation systems, reviewer assignment problem etc. Until recently, the CORE Conference Ranking listed JCDL as an A* conference. […]
Sergei Ivanov published a nice analysis of the authors, affiliations and countries of the ICML 2020 conference. ICML is one of the most important conferences in Machine Learning and therefore it’s interesting to see who publishes at this conference. So I looked at the accepted papers for ICML 2020 and analyzed authors, organizations, and countries that participated this year. […]
This is already an old blog post from 2017, but still an intersting read. The eleventh edition of the ACM Conference on Recommender Systems (RecSys) took place earlier this year in Como, Italy. In the time since, a number of summaries of the conference have been published by some of the attendees, e.g. Neal Lathia, […]
